Prince\'s Voyage (FIC)

12-year-old Tom rescues an old monkey Prince who`s injured and lost. The prince is taken in by Tom`s parents, a pair of scientists who have been banished from their community. Tom and the aging prince embark on a series of adventure, as the younger helps the older learn more about a society he knows nothing about. The two are oblivious to the fact that Tom`s parents have their own interest in the Prince, that is to use him to prove to the society that shunned them that their theory about the existence of other monkey civilisations is correct.
